He has a tooth

You guys may remember me posting last week that DS was rubbing his ear and back of his head on his right side?  Took him to the doctor thinking it was maybe an ear infection and the doctor said his ears were fine.

I got home from work tonight and he was fussy, fussy, fussy.  Nothing was making him happy.  I tried everything... and then I thought maybe he's hurting. So, I checked his lower gums and, yup, his tooth had broken through.

Is it wrong that I'm kind of sad?  I love his gummy smiles so much.  DH consoled me by telling me that he'll still put his tongue over his tooth, so it's still disguised.  *sniffle*

  • Aww, first tooth! That's so exciting! I keep wondering when the girls will get them because they've been drooling like crazy, but I think it'll still be awhile.

  • You know, it's so weird, he didn't really drool at all this past week.  He was just rubbing the back of his head and ear.  He hasn't been fussy (except for last night) or even sleeping all that weird.  I was so surprised to see that his tooth had broken through!
