i keep reading posts from people who say they had successful pregnancies after a little spotting, but it's still scary! i just left a message with my drs office asking to call me back, see if they're going to move my u/s up or anything. i'm a little comforted because it's brown, and not pink, but it's hard not to be totally freaked out ![]()
anyone else in the same boat?
Re: brown spotting?
I had red blood when pregnant with DD.
Right now, I have brown, more than spotting ,with some red/pink to it. My u/s on Tuesday was fine.
It is very common to bleed in early pregnancy. This is my 3rd, and I bled all 3 times.

This put me a little more at ease. Yesterday, right after intercouse, I noticed some bleeding but my doctor's office told me I shouldn't be alarmed. Its so hard not to stress :-(
It is very common after intercourse, bowel movements, strenuous activity, trans vaginal ultrasounds and pelvic exams.

It's really hard not to stress, you're so right! For me it only happened this afternoon, and I've peed several times since and haven't seen any more. I have slight cramping, and last night had a dream that I miscarried
Relaxing and trying to de-stress, it is what it is!
Thanks!
i've been spotting for like 3 weeks! I'm pretty sure i know the various causes at this point (1st week=sex, 2nd week = hospital check bc of previous spotting, 3rd week = pap smear from 1st official appt).
the doctor keeps reassuring me, but it sure is nervewracking! I called again today because it hasn't stopped and is a bit alarming, so they scheduled another ultrasound on Monday to make sure everything's progressing from the first ultrasound at 6 weeks. I'll feel a hell of a lot better after that appointment! (as long as everything goes well...)
When in doubt, call your doctor. Don't feel annoying. they can answer your questions and if they are concerned they will have you come in to check everything!

I would think that would be related. With my last pregnancy, I noticed I bled worse when I did strenuous activities. DD was still in an infant carrier, and it was right around Christmas, so I was constantly pulling her in and out of the car, and carrying stuff. It would be worse on days I went out with her. And again, my miscarriage happened well over a month after my bleeding, and was not related. The bleeding was caused by my cervix, and the loss was genetic.
