Longtime IVF lurker, so upset I had to post..

Hello guys,

I am currently finishing up my second IVF/ICSI/PGD cycle, my first was a success 2 years ago (we are so very blessed and lucky)... I'm currently 10dp4dt and got an absolutely heartbreaking yet convincing faint positive on a FRER yesterday. It was pink too, and showed up at 5 minutes. Today I received an evap at 5 minutes.

My beta is scheduled for 13dp4dt, but I started spotting two days ago so they wanted a progesterone level drawn, as well as a beta. The beta was zero, and the progesterone was 7.

Im so sad, but what's worse is the crap with the frers. In the past few years, they changed their tests. I've been using them for years and they have ALWAYS been my gold standard. I've never had an evap on them EVER. I'm writing the company, even though the result showed up after the three minute time period. People undergoing fertility procedures have been using them for years to give them an accurate reading, and any lines have always meant there was hcg detected. To change the test when it worked so well before was absolutely terrible, considering you don't know if you got the newer test until you've dropped $20.

I'll post a pic of the evap I received yesterday even though you can't really see it very well in the pic. These are the pink wrapper FRERs in case you wanted to know.. I'm warning EVERYBODY to steer clear of FRER!!

so sorry, I hope I didn't offend anyone by posting here. I've been a longtime infertility board poster on other sites and this site was difficult to navigate. If there was a way I could delete this post I would. Sorry.
