I'd probably go through my OB/Midwife, only because UTIs during pregnancy can be really nasty as it relates to the possibility for kidney infections -- at the very least, make sure they're definitely aware of what's going on, since they may want to monitor your urine more frequently for signs of UTI-causing bacteria.

I saw an urgent care when I was pregnant with DD, and the guy gave me meds I wasn't comfortable taking, and kept pushing really hard on my stomach (why was he feeling my stomach, when I had strep?)
Plus, if it is something like a sinus infection, my OB doesn't even make me see him, just calls in an rx.

Ok, thanks everyone, this is my first pregnancy and didn't want to be an idiot if I called them and then said sorry you need to see a family dr for that.
Midwife should be good...give them a call first to check. I know every state is different as far as rxs and midwives, but here in NJ my midwife can give me the medicine.

Re: Would I see my midwife for this?
I always call my OB when I am sick.
