Hey ladies,
So three days ago I started getting this terrible pain below my belly-- it feels like my bladder. It's worse when I'm sitting up, or when I get up from sitting. I had my doctor appt the next day and brought it up. She has no concerns, says its normal and the baby is just getting bigger and heavier and squishing the bladder. This evening it's been especially painful, to the point of tears. Has anyone else felt or experienced this? FYI I'm 34 weeks along.
Sitting at an incline/laying seems to help, but even on the drive home I was at an incline and each bump we hit I felt like I could feel the baby's head lift up and then smash back down on my bladder.
Aside from first tri sickness, I've had a relatively pain free, easy pregnancy...so maybe I'm just not used to this terrible pain?

could be SPD https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Symphysis_pubis_dysfunction
My pelvis area hurts soo badly when i get up from sitting that I have to walk bent in 2 for about 10 steps until it loosens up and I can stand normally again. Also at night it hurts soo badly that I can not even roll over in bed at night...I have to sit up and then switch positions. THEN when I get up from bed I have to watch how I do it or else my pelvis pops kind of like a hip or something would.
A lot of doctors don't believe this is actually a "condition" and just chalk it up to "normal pregnancy" but at least you can make yourself aware and try to do somethings that will help you feel better!
Good luck!
Good Luck
Totally normal. I have terrible shooting pains sometimes. I had it with my first son too. I would not worry... esp. if you mentioned it to the doc. already.
