My husband was trying to tell me how he was changing our DD2's diaper instead he started telling me that "when he nursed her she was making the cutest smiley faces and noises." poor guy just shook his head when I told him it was very unlikely it was while he nursed her.
When dd was 2 wks I went to the bathroom and forgot to put a pad on. Tmi I know. At the moment I realized this...an hour later...I knew was sleep deprived was.

After walking DD around the house to get her to sleep after she'd been fussy I laid her down on our bed then turned around to face her crib and only then realized "I can't sleep there" and then picked her up to trade spots.
you know you are sleep deprived when you go to the mall to pick up your childs newborn pictures, come back out to the car only to find you left you car running with your purse and cell phone sitting on the passenger seat in plain sight. I dont know if it was a good thing or bad thing that the car was unlocked.
...you make dinner & put your entire plate of food in the refrigerator when going to put away the ketchup & walking to the table with a stupid condiment.
You actually get as far as attaching the pump to your bewbs before you realize your didn't attach the little bottles to the pump for the bm to have a place to go!
These make me glad I've been sleep deprived for so long my body has adjusted! Having 2u2 with the oldest still not sleeping all night is good for something I guess.
I told DH yesterday, I can't even remember what day of the week it is! I can't even tell you a thing I did yesterday...except feed a baby, and pump.

you just can't talk right and make sense. Today I meant to say, "Her dress looked pretty" and I said, "Her breast looked pretty." Obviously all I do is nurse my baby.
I also keep forgetting if I paid daycare for my DD each week.
I went to get a haircut and at the end, I asked the receptionist to add a tip onto my bill. She said okay and then just stared at me as I was waiting for my receipt.... it wasn't until she said "and how do you want to pay for that?" that I realized I needed to actually hand her my credit card.
