have you started baby proofing?

it was on our 6 month checklist the doctor gave us. she is sitting up but not ready to crawl yet. i'm honestly not ready for it & i think i'm in denial.

    Not yet.

    We did buy a baby monitor last week. Not that she'll ever sleep in a room apart from us!

    We're at my parents this week.  Seemingly out of nowhere LO started crawling yesterday.  I'm not ready for a mobile baby :). He's not too fast yet, but he's a determined little guy!  We'll be baby proofing our house next week.

    We ordered and just got the gate for our stairs. We also sat down and made our list of what needs to be done and what we need to buy. Luckily we were given a bunch of stuff so there isn't much we need. He's rolling and army crawling all over the place so it's gonna need to be done sooner than later. We're all gonna have our hands full soon!!!

    We had to lower the crib at six months because Mr. E started pulling up to standing - it sucked until he figured out how to "cruise" and move sideways, since he'd get stuck standing up and not have anywhere to go. So... we've got little bumpers on all our furniture now.

    Started padding the corners of things, but that's it. He's sitting up pretty well but nowhere near being mobile (or so I think, ha.)

    We started baby proofing, but have a long way to go. It's hard because we are still trying to get organised in the new house.

    Nope! The only thing we've done is putting those outlet covers in. DD just started sitting up last week so she won't be crawling for a while. I suppose we need to do it sooner than later. I'm a little bit in denial that we are already at this stage.

    Does packing count?  We are closing on our new house in about a month and have already packed away a lot of the breakable decorative stuff.  I bought outlet covers too but haven't installed them yet.
