I am terrible at coming up with UO's but I'll get the ball rolling...

I love princesses and I plan to let my DD think she is a princess, watch princess movies, get the princess treatment at Disney, the whole nine princess yards! I think princess are a much better role model right now than many other characters (including people... I'm thinking Kardashians right now) out there for young girls.

Yes, I want her to be smart and intelligent and she'll get a lot of praise for her brains and self confidence is good too, but I want her to be my little pretty princess too!

Here is another one. I am so sick of the eCards with the witty sayings. Yes, they can be funny. However, the sheer amount of them in my FB and Pinterest feed are making me start to find them annoying. I especially hate when I see the same one posted ten times by different people in the same day.

Your kids are not an excuse to get out of everything you need/want/asked to do in the course of a day.

Yes, you have to compromise, but kids can't be your "reason" for everything.

You chose to have them, figure out a way.

What I'm trying to say is if you don't want to do something fine, but don't blame it on your kids.

This board kind of sucks now. There aren't many posts and the ones that are here just don't do it for me. I keep coming back, hoping it will get better, but it really hasn't. Oh well.

More variety, more people, less of the exact same question over and over again, more of a community feeling (which requires more people and talking about a greater variety of things Wink )

I really doubt it will happen. People are busy with their mobile babies now. Most of the time I don't have time to check. But, since it is kind of blah when I do, I don't make it a priority to check either.

I miss the way this board was about 6 months ago. It was actually quite entertaining for a while. I know that I am guilty of disappearing, but I am on here and FB almost equally ... both very rarely lately. I don't exactly blame it on my mobile baby (he is still somewhat slow-mobile), but I do blame it on the change of seasons. I work at night and spend all day outdoors. I hate having him indoors when it isn't raining. On my days off, I have been so exhausted from pregnancy and my schedule that I go to bed early.

Same here. Nothing interesting lately. I just started a post about something that I could easily just google.

My 08 group is still going strong its just solely on FB now. I have hope for us, truthfully if I didnt keep seeing the sn's that I know from this time a year ago or longer I wouldnt come back I keep hoping for amazing posts from some of those names.

I didn;t know TB was around that long

I'm sure the board is dead partially because of the weather being nicer now too.

I kind of want to pierce DD's ears. I'm 30 and don't have my ears pierced, myself, and frankly I think it's a bit barbaric. But....I want to pierce her ears anyway, so she won't grow up waiting until she can do it herself. I probably wont end up doing it, but I'm occasionally tempted.
