Ah, high school... It depends on which year to be honest. I think I got all of the cliqs covered to be honest. Freshmen year I had just moved back to the US after living in England for two years, I had not friends for the first half of the year so I was myself... A nerdy dork. Then sophmore year I fell in with this Senior crowd of jocks and I went to football games and everything. Junior year I was a punk rock/raver rebel and wore those big pants and tight tank tops with cat collars and died my hair all sorts of colors including blue, purple, and hot pink. The whole nine yards, even though I never actually went to a rave. :P Then, due to some stuff that happened at the end of my Junior year I was pretty much still hanging out with my punk rock/raver friends but I was a quiet one. I kept my head down, did my homework, and graduated. Graduation was the goal. Then after graduation I walked away from all my old HS friends and haven't talked to them since.
Wow, long way to answer that question... I need to go to bed... I am always way too vocal when I am tired...

I went to a small school so I knew everyone and they knew me, but I definitely wasn't part of the popular crowd. Had I tried I'm sure I could have been, but I had no desire to hang out with them. I was super involved in extracurriculars outside of school (competitive tumbling and dance) so I didn't have time to sit around worrying about what the popular girls were up to! I was in the band, so went to all the football games and most of the basketball games, and was also a wrestling manager.
I was NOT popular, don't think that was ever a word used to describe me in my life. I was pretty smart, so some may have considered me nerdy, but my friends were all normal and not uber geeks or extra smart, so not sure I'd fit that stereotype either. NOT a jock, I am one of the least sportiest people I know, have little competitive drive, and was super apathetic in HS. People called us the "hip and trendy" group lol, probably because we spent too much babysitting money on new clothes, and went to the mall too much lol. Not sure what that says about me, but that was pretty much it... if you consider the neon green plaid polyester pants I was wearing in my grade 12 photo to be "hip"!
I was a cheerleader/dancer. I was extremely active in other sports as well. Even though I was "popular", I still talked to other people outside of my group of friends. I'm actually better friends now with the "quiet ones" now and not my group of popular girls.
I think I was just swimming obsessed girl. People knew me, and I wasn't super popular but some of my friends were so the popular kids kind of let me tag along by default.
Up until high school, I attended private school. When I switched to public school freshman year, one group of popular girls "took me in." So, I guess you could say I was in a popular group, but...I was definitely still very introverted.
I stuck to my studies and did cheerleading. I also tutored math and started a Marine Biology Club. I love science! I was also friends with a lot of the theatre crowd b/c they were all in my church youth group. My BFFs were a year older so I had to find "new" friends senior year. I have a twin so I was also friends with her friends.

Socially awkward and never sure who I wanted to be. Not popular, but I had quite a few friends, mostly misfits, My dad also taught in my school so I was the teacher's kid.

this sounds like me.. Did all sports, played band, helped the football and basketball teams as statistician, TA in school office, cheerleader. I went to a small school though so you don't get a "clique" feel to it if that makes sense. I was also valedictorian so not sure if that makes me nerdy
Can't edit- but those who didn't "know or talk to me " thought that I was a b1tch ("mean girl" I suppose). I think it was because I was quiter than he "loud flirtatious girls"
shy and worked a lot. I would say I was more popular or "popular" in junior high, I had a lot of friends and my house was the hang out but it was usually the bad kids (ones that smoked, even though I never smoked) not the jocks or whatever. The boyfriend I had in high school and work kept me busy in high school so I wasnt really into a whole lot.
I was involved in many extracurricular activities so I had many groups of friends. You could call me the cheerleader, the band geek, the track star, or the drama queen. I didn't really fit into one category. I wasn't popular, but I had many friends.

the nerdy quiet one.
I had like 3 friends and then DH.
DH was that guy everyone knew. When we first started dating it was so weird to have people talking to me.

I was neither "popular" or "unpopular".
I was just friends with a bunch of different people, from different groups. I always had about a handful of decent friends, nothing crazy.
I was not athletic, did volleyball only for one year in HS and sucked. I got decent grades, but wasn't considered nerdy.
I never fit into a "clique".
