Making Your Own Wreaths

My neighboer, her DIL, and myself a making homemade wreaths out of fir tree branches today.

Every year we have to trim the trees, so we decided that we would make use of the branches and make BIG wreaths. That, & I refuse to pay $50+ for a fake big one at the store.

I'm wondering if we can wire the loops of branches and they hold the shape or if we need to wire them to hula hoops. WDYT?

You can use wire. My mom use to make them to sell and used wire. Grape vine also makes pretty ones

My MIL & I need to go out into her woods to the wild vinyard & get soe grape vine. We've only been saying we're going to do it for 6 winters

Yea, mom use to pull it out of trees. Thick vine, and make large ones. They sold well and were pretty pricey if I remember correctly.
