Natural Birth

Introducing myself (no more lurking)

Hi ladies, just thought it was time to come out of lurking.

I'm planning for a home birth with my midwives and doula. But I've had some problems with where my placenta is located and bleeding so it is still up in the air for now. I will find out at 32 weeks where I will be delivering.

This is my second child and I'm looking forward to a more natural approach. Despite having midwives present at DSs birth in Australia, it was still very medical and I was induced due to PROM. Is it weird that I can't wait to actually experience real contractions?

And despite what my location says, I'm actually in Canada not Australia.

Looking forward to getting to know you all!

  • Congrats! Good luck with your placenta and home birth! I just had a HBAC and it was amazing, definitely worth it! I learned so much from this board, stick around.

  • Hey congratulations on your second!  I had a great homebirth and will be having one again in January. I loved my midwife and going natural. It was definitely for me. Good luck!
