Adoption Prayer Group

Hi everyone, The Adoption Prayer Group is a support group utilizing the power of prayer. If you want to join I will assign you a prayer buddy and all you have to do is simply include that person in your prayers. Very simple-yet powerful!!! The complete listing of partners can be found under Prayer Partners. I usually post on Wednesdays. Feel free to search under Adoption Prayer Group and check in at whatever time of day. If you have any concerns, special prayer requests, or need to reach me outside of the bump please email me at suzannesteward69@yahoo.com.

This Week?s Events:

Praise: Rachel: The couple decided not to abort and to go ahead with the adoption plan! Hopefully, Rachel and her DH will be matched with them in the last trimester if it is meant to be. Please keep them in your prayers.

Amyaggie97: Their home study has been approved and finalized! They are just waiting on their profile book to be approved and then they will be on the match waiting list.

Bhead81: She has started her new job this week! With her new job, she and her DH will be requesting a finalization date from CA for Braeden.

Special Prayer Requests: Please let me know if you have any prayer requests.

Zanymermaid: She found out last week that her adoption agency lied to her about having a Caucasian-only adoption program. She and her DH aren?t sure what they are going to do next. Please pray that God gives them direction and guidance. If you know of any agencies with a Caucasian-only adoption program; please email or PM her.

MarionB79: She is still waiting for a placement. She?s struggling these days. Please pray for her to have patience and peace of mind.

Blds4given: They have a meeting with a social worker regarding Foster to Adopt. Please pray that all goes well and they can find a way to move forward. Also, please pray that her sister will find a suitable place quickly.

Welcome new members! Please welcome Butterflygrooves and Justplanelove!

Reflection for the day: Proverbs 16:33: We make our own decisions, but the Lord alone determines what happens.

Question of the day: Do you like to cook? If so, do you have a signature dish? I like to bake more than I like to cook, but cooking is okay. My signature dish would be a stir fry. I love to make stir fries.

Group updates: -If you have any upcoming events (appointments, birthdays, anniversaries, etc) be sure to let me know so I can post them in the events section!!

Re: Adoption Prayer Group

  • ROTD is so true!

QOTD: I make my gram's lasagna any time we have someone over. I think I am the only one who still makes it, so I guess its "my signature dish" now!

  • Update: We are on the waiting list!  Everything has been approved and now we wait!

Our signature dish is a black bean salsa we make.  We take it everywhere and everyone asks for the recipe.  It is so good!

  • QOTD: I enjoy cooking, but baking is another story. Wink  Baking is definitely not my thing.  I would say that my signature dish is green chile, beef enchiladas.

Updates: We have a Best Interest Placement (BIP) meeting for a possible placement of 3 siblings coming up on July 6th.  We also have a court hearing for our foster son on July 5th.  The hearing will give me and DH a chance to give our input concerning Turtle's future.

  • I'm keeping each of you in my prayers!

I love this reflection.  I need to save it somewhere. :)

QOTD: I like to cook sometimes, and other times I'm just feeling lazy. ;)  My signature dish would probably be curry - I love to make curry (green, yellow, and red are all I've tried to make so far) and I LOVE to eat it.  Mmmm.
