I am really excited but quite nervous at the same time. I have a 2 year old boy and a little part of me was hoping for another boy so that he could have a brother but that is ok. The baby looks great and I feel so blessed that we will have another healthy little one around the house soon.

I feel like the day you find out the gender is so emotional. 2 years ago I cried for a minute or two because I thought I wanted a girl so bad. Now I have one on the way and I am emotional about that. What is wrong with me? : )

I actually own a dance studio and have 400 girl students so I know it will be fun to have my daughter grow up in that atmosphere.

Congrats on your baby girl! I totally know the feeling, I knew I'd be happy either way but I really wanted my first born to be a boy so if I had a girl in the future she could have a brother to watch out for her. I'm really excited now though(:

I'm a dancer too and I plan on putting my girl in ballet as soon as possible. Again congrats on your baby girl!

Congrats OP! We found out we are having a boy! I wanted a girl when we found out we were expecting, and now, I wouldn't change having a boy for anything. I've already bonded with my son, and it would be really weird if he turned out to be a she! I would like a girl eventually, but I'm happy for right now.

I'm in the opposite boat. We were really hoping for a girl, and found out today we are having a boy! We're so excited though, and are happy that our future girls will have a big brother.

I swear we are going through the same thing. I have a 2 year old son also and was hoping for a boy because of the same reason. We found out on Monday that its a girl and I thought I was gonna be disappointed but I am excited about our new journey. My son always said he wanted a "sisser" instead of a brother when we asked so I guess he got what he wanted.
