Packing is not a fun task with 2 kids, I pack a box only for the baby to cry, go to tend to him and then DS1 unpacks the box while im gone (he saw something at the bottom he just had to have). Now this wouldn't be so bad if he didn't keep doing it over and over again lol.
So ready to leave Arizona everything keeps catching on fire! I swear I don't know how this town is standing, were right at the border and when mexico catches on fire, the fire fighters have to wait till it touches U.S soil to start putting it out.
Anyway so we have a 12 hour total road trip to our new home. We will be making it over three days so im hoping even though I will be sleep deprived it won't be too bad. My insane DH wanted to make a 6 hour detour to the grand canyon. Not counting the time it would take to stop and feed LO and DS1s many bathroom trips. I was like oh hell no, no detour.
So anyway two questions 1. Has anyone made a road trip with the new little one yet? And how did it go, I assume he will sleep almost the whole time.
2. Is anyone missing adult conversation? I feel like im just randomly telling you all about my life just because I want to talk to someone other than my kids DH or mom.
So everyone whats going on in your lives? (oops guess that was three questions)

I can only imagine how hard it is to move with 2 kids and one being a newborn.
I have not taken a road trip with a newborn but wishing you a safe trip.
Yes I'm missing adult conversation too. I have a playdate scheduled for DS#1 on Sunday, can't wait.
as for anything new, I'm starting a new job in less than 3 weeks! I'm excited because it is completely different than my current job.

We actually lucked out of a possible trip with LO. Granted she'd be about 2 months during it. DH's cousin was getting married in Louisiana (we're in Indiana) in August but she all of a sudden decided to call it off, leave her fiance & is already with some other guy.
Even though DH is home every day we don't really have conversations. Then it seems like when I'm with anyone else (like my family) we end up talking about the baby! Lol!
Nothing new going on right now. But then LO is only 2 weeks old, so I don't expect anything to be happening!

Yes I'm missing adult conversation so much I talk to my 19 month old who doesn't talk.
Whats new in my life is today started summer vacation so now I have three boys at home all day, I'm hoping my 8 year brought his brain home for the summer.
