Adult Bullying

The news this morning did a spoof on adults that get bullied, I kinda laughed to myself and thought that they should check out the first trimester board on "The Bump", for their next story... ha ha! Cause there be some cranky, mean hormones flying around up in here... :-)

Agreed. Actually, my husband has mentioned that I have been less moody since becoming pregnant. TK is the same way (I haven't spent much time on TN) and most women there are not pregnant.

But, it you were talking about the Today Show this morning, adult bullying is ridiculous and so prevalent everywhere you turn and I don't understand why a news broadcast would spoof it?

I was also witness to adult bullying when I was in 7th grade. The kids in my math class would take advantage and taunt our teacher, an elderly man, to the point that one day he left the room crying and never came back. We had a different teacher.

That's really sad....

To the OP if you read the posts, things only get really mean when an honest opinion is given with no snarkiness and the poster tells them they are wrong, then it gets mean. But it's just cause it didn't get through the non mean way.....

As a teacher, it really sucks. I worked for a campus (not there any more thank GOD!) that did not ever discipline their students. These kids would diall 911 from my class phone, say "stand up and cheer if you hate Ms. Nalls", tell me to eff off and so on! If I sent them to the office, they would be sent right back. I LOVE teaching and it broke my heart and caused several panick attacks from stress because of how the kids were treating me. I teach theatre of all things and you would think that they would love coming to my class. It was when I asked them to so small things like write a journal, or a do worksheet to demonstrate knowledge of the areas of the stage, that they all ganged up on me. If I wasn't letting them play theatre "games" all day, they hated me. They had not respect for me, the school, or the admins. Parents weren't on my side either. They could care less. It really is unfair and we have the right not to be treated that way just as much as they have the right to not have teachers belittling them. Sorry for the long post, this one hits personally.

If you're talking about what happened yesterday, if anyone was bullying it was crazycakes who thought she was feeling her baby move. Everyone told her it was not possible, she was the one who flipped her sh*t and said she hopes we die and if she saw us in person she'd beat us.

I always find it funny that people confuse educating with bullying on pregnancy boards. I mean seriously... if you're five weeks along and someone tells you you're not showing and that's not your baby moving, a simply google search of how big your fetus is (which isn't even a fetus at that point) will make it a pretty obvious face palm. People need to learn to admit they made a mistake, laugh it off and move on with their lives. Or at least stay off the internet cause it's not safe for their sensitivity!

Side note- maybe she's pared them down since you wrote this, but she only has 3. 1 for both kids and one for her pregnancy.I don't think it's really a big deal. Shrugs
