Where are all the moms out there?

I just moved to VA from Boston - living in Oceanview while my husband works at the Norfolk Naval Base... the Virginia Boards are SO quiet and I'm not seeing any moms in the area - where is everyone??

I have a one year old daughter and expecting my second babe this July!

Hi to any moms out there? Anyone live around the Norfolk area?

    Hi,

    I live in Virginia Beach and my husband works @ the Fort Story Base. I have four children. 3 girls and 1 boy. My baby girl just turned nine months old over the weekend!!! The other girls are 8 & 5 and my son just turned 4. My husband is currently deployed.

    My husband works at the Norfolk Base - we just moved down in April.

    I have a one year old daughter & my son will be arriving in July.

    How long have you lived in the area - I can relate to having a husband away.. I know how you feel. The kids keep you so busy though - the time flies by when he is away.

    I'm Due any moment and I'm also from Boston (Waltham). My husband is at Damn Neck and we just got here In Feb.

    How are you liking the adjustment? Do you like the area?

    I'm due in July with #2.. my daughter is 12months.. I'm having #2 in Boston... I was already so far along in my pregnancy I didnt want to start with a new Dr.

    One of my best friends grew up in Waltham! How long are you planning on being in the area?

    Hi! I live in Virginia Beach. My hubby and I are from NY but he was in the Navy and we ended up loving this area :) Im currently TTC and might be pregnant, I just missed my period! So hoping this week to get a BFP :)

    I live in VB! Used to live in Oceanview about 4 years ago. Welcome. I'm really just lurking here...I usually post on my BMB but I figured I could meet some local bumpies!

    My husband is working out of the Norfolk Base.. he is a Port Engineer

    Where in NY are you and hubby from? I was born in White Plains and have family all over NY and Long Island...

    I am too from New York. What part are you from? I am from Crown Heights in Brooklyn. I use to live on Montgomery St. off of Utica Ave. Is this your first baby?

    HI! 

     I live in Chesapeake! My husband is stationed at Norfolk and he's on a submarine and currently underway!  Hubby and I are both from Florida and have been stationed here for almost 4 years. Going to shore duty soon! Only 4 weeks along with my first pregnancy and hoping it sticks!!

    I'm here in Virginia Beach. I have a child of my own (5 year old boy) and one on the way.  Only 3 months now so have a long way to go! But super excited.  I'm also a nanny, so if anyone needs help with anything or any questions on any topic what-so-ever, I havce 10 years experience and am sure I could help! :)
