39 weeks and nausea?

During my first trimester I had nausea (never got sick though) that would go away as long as I ate something (literally had to eat something small every hour or two). Well suddenly, I am having nausea again just like that the past couple of days, it is the worst first thing in the morning and right before bed. Tonight it is even worse than yesterday. Anyone else have a reappearance of nausea? I've had this a few times through out my pregnancy (usually it seemed to coincide with weeks that little one was having a growth spurt or during times when my hormone levels increased quickly). Hoping now it may mean labor soon, because I feel like poo!

Re: 39 weeks and nausea?

  • Oh and to top off the nausea I've been peeing like crazy again (I'd had about 4 weeks of relief from going a million times a day, but it's back). I also can't decide if I am hot or cold, but I don't have a fever (just checked). Plus, I think insomnia just kicked in too because I CAN'T sleep. And my feet look like balloons. I'm a mess! I know it could be so much worse, but I am definitely still praying to the labor goddess that baby boy comes soon!

Yep, Right there with you, but luckily the nausea isn't as bad as during the 1st trimester.  Just annoying.  We'll make it!
  • I've got nausea as well and It is expecially bad in the mornings. I have even gotten sick a few times from it. Hopefully this means the end is near!

  • Me too!  I wasn't expecting to feel nauseated, but I'm also 39+ and counting.  Actually, it's getting worse really quickly too.  I'm trying to eat something to control it, but now I REALLY hope she comes soon.  I'm so glad you posted this because I was feeling like it was just me again!  Good luck - I hope he comes soon so that you can hold him and feel better!
