I just thought I'd share this. I mentioned on the bath time thread below that I plan on using a bath ring type of seat when LO starts to sit up. Not sure if many know about this type of seat, no one has mentioned it. They seem harder to find and more $$ then they were 10 years ago.
Re: next step after the baby bathtub
We have a Safety 1st Tubside Seat... I REALLY like it.
It's around $30.
Right now, we put Aria's ladybug bath sponge in it, then put her in... she LOVES it so far!
Here's the link, sorry, it's not clicky... stupid computer...: www.diapers.com/p/safety-1st-tubside-bath-seat-6495

That is kinda neat.
I use the bumbo in the bath, I mentioned in the bath post below. I sit Emily in the bumbo in the big tub, she likes it way better than the baby bath.
How do you keep it from floating and tipping??
I can't believe the cost of these. I have been searching and looks like The Safety First brand sells a simple one for around $20.
Glad I can help.
ETA. I like this one.

This is the one I have too! We just got it out and I was trying to use it the other day, but Charlie wasn't ready. He was too slippery and was sliding forward and getting folded up in the seat. I can't wait until he can use it!
I hold it with my feet... This sounds so primitive lol
I dont put enough water in the tub that it floats, I only put an inch or two and once Emily is in it, she weighs enough to hold it down
