Weird feeling in my throat

I haven't had any m/s (thankfully) but off and on I have this weird feeling in my throat like someone is pressing on, or right below, my Adam's apple.  It's a very uncomfortable feeling... kind of makes me *almost* gaggy, but not quite.  Anyone else??

I have that too..like something is in my throat though..I did have dysphagia with my first pregnancy last year (second overall)....its basically difficulty swallowing....this time I dont know if thats what it is again its not anywhere NEAR as bad as the true dysphagia was when I was pregnant last year....I couldnt eat ANYTHING..it would literally stay somewhere in my throat...I threw up everything it wouldnt go down/digest..I lost so much weight...ugh terrible....I gag too...hope it goes away for both of us soon!

  • I was sitting here at the computer yesterday and I felt as if someone punched me in the throat! It was weird! I gagged and was choked up a little. I had a sore throat all week and it was all of the sudden really sore after that. I thought it was really weird. Now I think it's really weird that it happened to you.
  • Yes, I have it, too. It's a burning feeling, similar to what it feels like after I've vomited. For me, I think it's the beginning of heartburn.

  • This is what I call nausea.  I had it the entire first trimester last time and I'm hoping it goes away quicker round 2!  Green jolly ranchers were the only thing with DS that made it go away, so I sucked on them all day long.  I just bought myself a bag yesterday and am about to dip into it. :)

  • Yes, I had that for most of last week and a little this week as well. The best way I can describe it is "gaggy." Not necessarily nausea, but close to it. I found that it actually got better when I had something in my mouth, whether I was eating, drinking water, or just sucking on a mint or chewing gum.
