granted I could be having caffiene withdraw since i stopped my coffee intake but its been 2 weeks since i stopped drinking coffee. plenty of time for that to get thru system. the headaches are mild but pretty much getting them daily.
Yes. This is my third pregnancy and the first time I've had this. Mine get pretty bad and I get them several times a week. I take Extra Strength Tylenol, but it doesn't seem to help a whole lot unless I take it as soon as I feel one coming.
I thought mine was caffeine withdrawl too, but I still have one cup a day most days so it's not like my body shouldn't have adjusted by now. I mostly get them late afternoon/early evening, and then wake up feeling hung over. Hoping these are completely gone by second tri!

I am getting them from dehydration and not eating regularly.
You can have some caffine. Just cut it half and half or 1/4 3/4 with decaf. If your headaches are from withdrawal you would be doing equal harm taking in some caffine as you would going through withdrawal. If you are tired of headaches give a bit of caffine a try. (could even do a bit of tea).

I had it worse last time but still have it this time. They say its related to hormones but can also be realted to caffeine withdrawal (don't go cold turkey) and/or dehydration.

Be careful with the extra strength my midwife told me only regular tylenol is safe but the extra strength was half the price so I got that but only take one pill.
Mine just started a couple of weeks ago - I'm a migraine sufferer though, and was thinking how lucky I was to not have any migraines during my pregnancy untilllll week 10 and then I was like awwww shhooot! LOL!
I've been hiding in a dark room, using lavender oil on my temples and I take one paracetamol (panadol). I know I can take 2 but I'm really trying to not take any meds unnecessarily. Luckily I work in a therapy department so when I get a bad one at work, my supervisor let's me cancel my patients for an hour, go into one of the beds and take a little lie down until I feel tolerable enough to go back to seeing the kids. We're a fairly young department - 11 staff with 5 of us who have recently had kids or are preggers - including my supervisor so lots of support within the office for the pregnancy pains - thank GOD for that!!!
I've been getting headaches/migraines for years - I always took ibuprofen because tylenol never helped so now I'm stuck! I've found that one of the tiny 90 calorie cokes has just enough caffeine/sugar to help me. GL
I just started getting migraines this pregnancy, and man are they rough. I'm sorry you're having headaches too. The only thing that seems to work for me is a dark, quiet room, with a wet washcloth over my face, and like a 4 hour nap
