Just had my 12week sono the babies are big and healthy, but the dr noticed a hemmorrhage on my uterus. He says it is to small to hurt the babies right now, but it is still a little scary. Any one else experience this?
I had a subchorionic hematoma at 6-7 weeks. It was so scary and I was spotting brown and pink. Every time I wiped I would totally freak out but I just kept telling myself as long as it's brown, it's okay because it's the hematoma working on itself. I went on bedrest for a couple of weeks and have been on pelvic rest since then. Although my last OB/GYN visit on Friday the Dr. said I look like I'm in the clear, she's advised that I continue pelvic rest for another week as a precaution.
Just take it easy and follow your doctor's advice. I have my fingers and toes crossed for you that all will be well!
I had a subchronic bleed as well.. I had two big bleeds followed by over a month of brown and pink spotting it was agonizing!! I just went to my nuchal test yesterday. My baby is doing great!!! Dont google anything it will make you crazy, I think you will be fine!!
I had a subchronic hematoma at my 7 and 9 week ultrasounds. I experience spotting once at 8 weeks and nothing since. After my 12 week appointment my doctor isn?t at all worried about it. He said it is too small to interfere with the baby at this point. I was basically on pelvic rest until 12 weeks but that?s all I was asked to do differently. I would do as your doctor says and try not to worry too much. Surprisingly enough, I went an researched it a lot (I can?t resist Dr. Google) and there many more positive outcomes out there than negative.
I was diagnosed with a subchorionic hematoma (SCH) at my 7 week appointment. I never had any bleeding, but my OB sent me to a specialist just to confirm that's what it was, and the specialist said that he doesn't expect it would have any impact on the outcome of the pregnancy, and that everything looked great. I had my OB look for it again at my appt. last week, and it's almost gone at this point.

They think that is what I have now, after all the confusion about what was going on in my body for the past few months. Basically, because of it's size, they are not worried, but I have to have like 6 million ultrasounds this pregnancy to watch it. The specialist (MFM) doctor told me she thinks that it is highly likely I will have a normal pregnancy and a normal delivery.

Hi - I had a subchorionic hematoma diagnosed at my first ultrasound at 6 weeks. I went back for another ultrasound and found that it had absorbed back in to my body by 8 weeks. Try not to stress out!!
