Julian is a boy's name. I also knew a Julien (which I think is the French version of Julian) who was a boy. If Juliet, Juliette, Julia, Julianne, Juliana, and Julie are not sufficient feminine options for you, I don't know what to say. I like Julian very much as a boy's name; please do not try to "make" it anything.

Re: Is Julien/Julian Unisex?
Julianne and Julienne are both perfectly nice names for girls.
Julian is generally masculine.

Julian and Julien are boys' names- always have been, always will be.
Julianne and Julianna are perfectly good girls' names.
This.
Julienne for a girl... which I also really love!
Julian is masculine.
Julianne and Julianna are feminine.
Julienne is how you cut vegetables in certain recipes.
Yup.
Julian is for a boy. Julianne, Julianna, Julienne (although this reminds me of a veggie peeler), Julia and Julie are all girls names.
LOL at julienne. So true. I have seen Julien (I think it's French), but other than that I agree with g8trkim 100%.
