I had a sono at about 27 weeks and it showed the baby had turned and moved into position. Today I went to the Doctor because I felt the baby was not as active as it should be for a couple of hours, the sono showed that the baby had turned again into a breech position.
Has this happened to anyone else? I'm just worried about having a c-section delivery.
Re: Breech question
My little one was breech at 28 weeks, turned to head down at 30 and back to breech at 32 weeks and stayed there. I tried all of the stuff I read about online to get him to turn and nothing worked. This is my 4th pregnancy and I really did not want a c/s. Last week when I turned 36 weeks and he was still breech and my fluid was a little low so they decided to try a version then. It did not work and I thought for sure I was going to have a c/s. Last thing I wanted after 3 vaginal deliveries. I was told to drink lots of fluids and they would try one more time. My regular dr did it yesterday and she got the little one to turn! I was so excited. Has a follow up u/s today to be sure he stayed head down and he has. If you get to the point of having a version I did not find it too painful at all. I guess I really did not want to have a c/s so i would do anything! Good Luck!

Lots of time left to flip still. I don't think you'll start seriously talking about it till 35 or even 36w.
My son flipped to breach at 37w but i was able to get him to flip within the week before my scheduled c-section at 38w. So even though things are cramped in there, they can still move around till the end. Even in labor they can change positions.
Check out spinningbabies.com and start doing some of those things to encourage him to flip back.
ETA: the spinningbabies stuff did not seem to help me get DS to flip. A friend told me about a little-know natural-remedy-type trick to try, which I did. Rub peppermint essential oil on the top of your belly where the head would be. Apparently they don't like the strong smell and will turn away from it. I put it on my belly before bed one night and in the morning he was head down. Worth a shot at least!
DS was breech at 32 wks, never moved into the correct position. I opted out of an external version b/c my OB only had a 40% success rate and I had heard it can send you into early labor. So, I opted for a scheduled c/s. Let me tell you, carrying a breech baby is WAY more comfortable than a head down baby. So, there's that silver lining to this whole thing!
The recovery for my c/s wasn't bad at all. And, I can only think of 2 regrets -
1. I wish I would have put up a fuss about not having DS in recovery with me so we could have bonded.
2. I had this weird pulmonary thing & had to have a CAT scan + chest x-rays the day after. I was in no mood for that and the fluid from the CAT scan made it so I couldn't BF for 24 hours. I didn't pump as much as I should have during that time and had a lousy supply no matter what I did for the entire 8 mos I BF'd DS.
Good luck!

DD was breech until 38 weeks...then turned right before my scheduled c-section....so I didnt have the c-section and had vaginal birth at 41 weeks
there is still time for the baby to flip again
