First Ultrasound Questions

in 1st Trimester
 Tomorrow morning I go in to get my first ultrasound. I'll be 6w2d. How much can they actually see at this point? They want to make sure it's not an ectopic pregnancy, but besides making sure LO is growing in the right spot, will we be able to see anything other than the sac on the screen? I know I've only got to wait until morning to find out, I'm just extremely curious. My earliest ultrasound with DD was at 10 weeks.Thanks ladies :)

    i got my first ultra sound done at 5 weeks and 6 days. tehy can see the little baby the heart beat flutter and they can see the yolk sac.

    I actually had my first u/s on Monday and I was exactly 6w 2d. We got to see my little tiny creature and saw and heard the heartbeat. I originally went to rule out an ectopic because I was having lower left abdominal pain. My Dr. said the pain most likely is coming from my left ovary where the egg must have come from. Hope this helps:)

    This is why I went in too. You'll see a little c-shaped peanut and the flutter of their hb, and we heard it as well. GL! It's the best feeling ever.

    we went in at 6 weeks and saw the sac, heard and saw the heartbeat and also was told the location of the implantation - right in the center of the sac!

    i actually had mine yesterday :) at 5 weeks and 4 days :) the only thing we could see was the sac, i was like WTH??? lol the doc immediately told me it was normal at my stage to not see anything because baby is as little as a sesame seed almost invisible lol.

    I'll be going back in my 8th week to check on the development. Im sure your appointment will go well, just know that at this stage  your baby is just developing so you may not see much but if Doc says its all good then its all good :)
