I'm so excited!!!

Just wanted to share because there is a lot of negativity on the board lately. In one week we get to hear our LO heartbeat!!!! I'm so excited. So question for those who have already heard, do they give you anything to take home or no? If not then I'm thinking of taking a recorder of some sort or I guess I can just use my phone.....

When i went they just printed out a tiny picture of the screen but the doctor let us take picture and video with our phones!

thats so exciting!!! My big day is july 5th... I would call your doc and see if they give you a video or something.... my doc will record the ultrasound if you bring in a CD of some sort.... but call and confirm....

I was able to tape my first u/s of my first baby. We watched the video during half-time of the Superbowl. It was so fun.

when i went for mine my boyfriend had to work so he couldnt get to hear it so i recorded it on my phone for him and sent it to himits now his ringtone for me. its really amazing when u get to hear it for the first time. i cried like a little girl.

My OB told me I could use something to record the HB so I don't think you get anything. I get to hear mine tomorrow!

My DRs office said specifically no phones, could be different though. We got a fwe pictures printed out but no recordings. Didn't ask if they did them though, I'm sure they offer something, possibly for an extra fee.

My friend has taken her iphone and recorded all of her visits that she heard the hb.

I went yesterday (and im about as far a long as you) and the dr was able to pick up the heartbeat right away. As soon as the doppler touched my belly, i heard the "woosh woosh woosh". And no i didnt get anything to take home, so if you can record it w/ ur phone or something, go for it!!!

I really hope they let me record it, I just moved like two months ago across the country from where all my family lives so I would like for them to hear it too. Feel included. Thanks for all your thoughts and advice.
