Possible water around heart.. so nervous

On Monday we had our first US since we didnt have an EDD because we had aMarch MC then immediate pregnancy following. My guess was exactally right and Im 9 weeks. However they think they may have seen water around the babies heart. They said it could be shadows but are sending us for a Level 2 tomorrow at 1. Of course when you google these things it can be anything from no big deal, to serious medical conditions to life threatening conditions. Im really nervous because after our 1st MC I didnt get my Rhogam shot because the MC was only at 6 weeks and I decided against getting it. Now im driving myself crazy with worry that its related to RH disease because of that.. DH says he looked into it and it would be too early for that.. I'll be so glad to have that US tomorrow to just have an answer. We're nervous but feel a peace about it since we've been praying. Just had to vent a bit.

aw, try not to worry about the Rhogam shot. I had an early m/c too (7 weeks, but measured 5), and my doc said the embryo doesn't really have many blood cells at that point, if any, so the Rh should be a non-issue. I haven't received a shot either, but I will at 28 weeks (I think, somewhere around there) this time around.

Some doctors are pretty liberal with administering it though for early m/c's, I think just for peace of mind of the mother, because it's harmless even if you don't need it.

Like pp, I hope its just shadows and your LO is perfect

I will be 28 weeks as well before I get my first shot...just like during my first pregnancy (and another after Zeke tested RH positive). Guess I'm not well versed on why or the reasoning for getting this early on??? Never occurred to me to ask doctor.

Its something that doctors recommend at the time of miscarriage depending on how far along you are. If you have a healthy pregnancy you don't need it early.

OP, for a m/c at 6 weeks, I would think that not getting the shot wouldn't be a factor in this. T&P that the spots aware just shadows!!!

Thanks everyone the maternal fetal dr said really that the heart looked like a normal tiny 9 week old heart and not to worry at all!! Ill make a regular post on the 2013 but wanted to make sure to update anyone who checked back!
