So my current was routine is cold rinse/hot wash on the long wash cycle with 2 tbs RNG/cold rinse/cold rinse. Would there be any reason I couldn't just do a quick cold wash cycle with no detergent at the end instead of two rinses?
My washer and dryer are in the basement and I am usually washing during the bedtime routine for my three kids so it would be easier if I could start the washer one less time.
Re: Rinse Question
I've wondered the same thing. Are you talking a full wash cycle where it spins, then rinses and spins? If so I'd think it would be fine. You might need that extra spin/rinse/spin to drain away all the soapy water.
...if that made sense. Sleep deprived today.

I think my sleep deprived self follows your sleep deprived answer! Yes, I do mean the full wash cycle, just set to short. Perhaps I should have mentioned, I have a TL and soft water.
I was only doing one rinse, but I noticed I was still getting some suds. Maybe decrease detergent?
