When did you start to exercise PP?

I'm 4wks PP and curious when you started to exercise again? What type of workout did you do?

  • I hadnt really gotten motivated until about 7 weeks ago. I LOVE the Tracy Anderson workouts on YouTube. There is a great one for postpregnancy.

  • I started going for walks 3 weeks PP and was running by 6 weeks PP.  It's important to make sure that you are healed before exercising again.  Listen to your body.

  • Started taking walks around 3 weeks pp and Jillian Michaels videos after my ob gave me the green light at my 6 week pp visit.

  • I started taking small walks with my LO in the stroller the day after I came home from the hospital. I got on the eliptical at about 4 weeks PP, & I started resistance training & more intense cardio workouts at 6 weeks PP once cleared by my OB. 


    After 4 years, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs our surprise miracle is here!

    RPL testing = normal

    TI Cycle #1, 50 clomid days 3-7, 150 iu Follistim days 8-11 = BFP! EDD May 22, 2014

    Betas: 13 DPO = 79, 15 DPO = 149, 19 DPO = 788, 22 DPO = 2031

  • 1st pregnancy - I waited until I was cleared at 6 weeks PP.

    2nd pregnancy - Started running at 4 weeks PP.

  • I started working out at 4 weeks doing zumba but I also did zumba while pregnant
  • I started back to dance team at 4 weeks PP, but didn't get the clearance from my doctor until 7 weeks. After that I got back into Zumba and Pilates and then eased into lifting again.

    I went back to hot yoga at 3w pp. Back to cardio at 5w. I had a c-section.

  • Hi this pregnacy i started walking bout 2 hrs after birth ( baby in nicu and they put me in the farthest room from nicu). started back full workout at 4-6 weeks pp ( i dont include the rush from the car to the nicu and back down to spend time with my family working out but it did have me winded quite alot)
