Overnight Diapers?

My LO is sleeping 11-12 hours at night now so we aren't changing him anymore at night. We had been using Pampers Baby Dry but ever since he started sleeping on his tummy they have been leaking. Any reccomendations for overnight diapers? He is a size 3. Thanks!

Re: Overnight Diapers?

  • I'm interested to see the replies. I bought pampers overnights and he still majorly leaks in those!

I'm tempted to buy cloth just for overnight.

  • We use the regular BRU brand diapers, also we have used the Huggies Snug and Dry because we had samples (we won't go out any buy any though).  They work well for her and she's been a tummy sleeper since she was 5 weeks old.
  • We used Pampers Swaddlers through size 3 and now use Cruisers but they were getting so full overnight. I read a ton of reviews on all the Pampers Baby Dry and Overnight diapers and they got horrible reviews so I looked at Huggies overnight which got great reviews so I just ordered a package of those. Last night was her first night in them but so far so good, it was still really wet but not nearly as full as the Pampers.

PS - I ordered them in size 4 and they are perfect. She does still wear a size 3 in the Cruisers but could probably fit in a 4 in those as well. She is about 27in and 18 1/2 lbs. I think Huggies run a little different size wise in general though than Pampers, maybe a bit smaller?

ETA - She also sleeps on her tummy, and by morning her pjs & sleep sack are usually soaked but were fine this morning. I also wonder if that was part of what has been causing her many nightly wakings. I guess we will see.

  • We were having the same issue, so we went up to a size 4 even though he was still wearing 3s during the day.  We still have leaks once in a while, but way less than we were.

  • We used the pamper's baby dry up until recently too, my son is also a tummy sleeper. We use pamper's cruisers size 3 and no leaks yet, even when he does sleep 11-12 hrs.

Works for us too, but for my older son, we eventually did Huggies, they were much better than pampers extra protection ones.

  • LO is a heavy wetter and leaks through his cloth diapers at night, so we've been using Huggies Overnites and they really do work great... until baby outgrows them and wets your bed at 4am. Yup, that was my night lol. We'll pick up some size 4s today (he's still in size 3 day diapers.)
