Let's talk about boobies

So I am pretty familiar with sore boobs as I usually get them from O till AF... what I am wondering is if you get the SAME kind of pain each month or do your boobies like to mix it up?

For example last month I had huge puffy sore nipples and they felt heavy... this month I have the sore nipples but they hurt more on the side and under my arms. ( this is new)

My boobs apparently like to mix it up and trick me. I never have tender breasts before AF and last cycle I did. I think they like to change them up for sh-ts and giggles.

This past cycle I had the under arm pain and only in the right boob.. Months before I've had sore boobs, tender nipples, whole breast could have shooting pains, etc. There have been some cycles where I've worn a sports bra to sleep because of how much better it made me feel. So it's a mix of things.

Mine hurt more when I drink more caffeine than usual. They are very sore every month 1-2 days before.

I gave up caffeine thinking that would help... yeah not so much-- still hurt like hell.

My breasted are usually sore for about 4 days post ovulation, and the again nearing my period and during. My lymphnoids in and around my armpits also swell and become very sore during these 2 times. Highly annoying!

My boob soreness is different every month...just to further confuse me in trying to interpret phantom symptoms.

I never have boob pain. Ever! The only thing that happens to me is every once in awhile I'll get a shooting pain from my nipple. But that's about it.

Yeah, it's pretty much different every month. Some months my nipples start hurting about day 3. The only thing that is consistent is they get bigger after O and the day before AF they shrink.

Mine are fairly consistent. Right after O, they're sore but not terribly, but my nipples are super sensitive. Then at the second hormone surge (usually about 7 dpo), they get incredibly sore, so much so that I pretty much wear a sports bra 24-7 and can't sleep on my stomach (my preferred way of sleeping). If someone so much as brushes against them, I cringe. This lasts until AF, though the day before it eases up some, which is how I know AF is coming. There are little changes here and ther though. Like this month, my nipples seem particularly large and sensitive.

Mine are usually sore right before AF and it usually goes away during AF. I've never had sore nipples or shooting pains, it's always the sides of my boobs that are sore. It feels like they got punched or something. No boobie trickery here....same ole, same ole every month really.

Mine are insane.

Sometimes they don't hurt at all. Sometimes they hurt a lot. Sometimes they only hurt if you touch them.

This cycle, they've been hurting by my armpits, on the tops (like a few inches below my collarbone), and last night, one of my nipples was super sore and red. I have no idea what was going on there. It felt like it was burning and trying to rip itself off my chest.

This month for the first time ever, mine were HUGE and sore for almost two weeks. AF arrived today and they are still big but some of the pain went away, not in the shoulder, upper back and under arm though. It really had my husband and I thinking I was pregnant so yes, I guess mine like to mix it up

Mine mix it up. Sometimes I get throbbing boob pain, other times they are just sore to touch, and then I'll get a month where its just my nipples that or sore/hurt

My boobs don't hurt at all until about 2 days before AF... and the pain it pretty intense... cant have anything brush against them bcz holy hell it hurts...

Prior to my pregnancy with #1 my boobs would hurt, basically all-over, from ovulation until day 2 of AF. It sucked. Now, I haven't noticed a change in soreness but I have only had 2 PP periods. Although, my boobs occasionally get sore from engorgment (the joys of breastfeeding).

My breasts feel sore only occasionally with my period. The only time it was truly unbearable was when I was pregnant. I'm sure when I start TTC again in the future though that they will choose to mix it up.

Mine like to mix it up! Sometimes shooting pains, something a dull throb, something twitches. It all just depends on what they feel like doing.

My boobs have been killing me since the weekend. Tested today - very early - BFN.

Normally, they are sore, but not this early before AF.

I do remember the boob pain when pregnant was always almost under my arms.

Right after O, my poor nipples are ridiculously sore and sensitive. Every cycle. And most cycles the sides of my breasts are sore, too, but that varies from barely sore to punched in the boob sore.
