Im just continuely dealing with cramping and I wish i knew of someway to help keep discomfort down.. not into taking alot of meds if you know what i mean.
There is nothing you can do.it is your uterus making room for your LO. I have started to welcome the cramping as a feeling of comfort that LO is trying to grow.

Yeah i suspected that was the answer id get but i was being overly hopeful. thanks for your input!
Lol thanks. I needed a good laugh Guess ill be waiting awhile for that
Finally someone with a sense of humor! Srsly though, tylenol can help, but the cramping is really just ute growing pains. Walking can help, or finding distracting techniques, but ultimately birth really is the end of it.
Drink more water. Most cramping is in part due to dehydration. Seriously, even if you think you're drinking a lot, drink more.
Oh and plus also - birth does not stop cramping if you plan to breastfeed. True story. When you nurse, it makes your uterus contract. So the cramping just keeps on coming. Fun times to look forward to.
I had period-like cramps up until 12-13 weeks - it was my main symptoms and was so nerve wracking. I found that a warm (not hot) heating pad up against my back while I laid on my left side helped a lot. Also make sure you're drinking LOTS of water.

Shhhhh! I'm trying not to scare her!
lol you're awesome haha. no worries. i try not to scare to easily. not worth the added stress. I find i just get annoyed with the symptoms. And I will try the added water intake. Thank you gals for welcoming me so nicely to the board. Im enjoying every bit of it!
BWAHAHAHA....this is why I like this board. Lots of smart@$$ comments make me feel a lot less b*tchy.
Op, as far as I know, heat is the only no-no because it can make your temperature rise and that is bad for bean. Ibuprofen, acetaminophen, and naproxen are all approved to be taken while pregnant. My cramping hasn't been too unbearable, so I can usually live with it. When it starts getting too bad though, I lie down and it tends to go away.

For me I stopped cramping weeks ago but trust me there is different pain to follow (not horrible just annoying). My dr told me to have tylenol handy!
