July 2012 Moms

um... there is something I have not told you all

I had my babies!

Monday around 5:30 am my water broke and long story short, at 2:39 in the afternoon Spencer Noah came out after only 4 pushes.  vaginally.  At 2:57 his sister, Sidney Paige was born via emergency csection with me under general anesthesia.  I heard him, but did not see either baby.

I woke up in recovery with pre-e in full force, for the first time inthe pregnancy.  Those headaches had me lomging for contractions!  I was put on magnesium for 24 hours and it sucks!  I am just now feeling more human!

Yesterday I saw both babies in the nicu (they were born at exactly 35 weeks but are doing great) and got to hold Sidney.  This morning they had to wake me at 3:30 for meds and vitals and actually even took away my iv then.  I was up anyway so I went to the nicu and got to nurse Spencer at 5!  I have nursed, or rather, let them suck to try to get milk to come in, both babies now.

I am loving motrin and percoset because wow, did I ever get the delivery combo pack!  I will go back at 5 for one last nurse and then I amtaking the rest of the night off inbed to rest.  But I managed to get to the nicu and nurse every 3 hours today.  Spencer takes a bottle from me but Sidney wont.  But that is ok, big sis Emily never took a bottle from me either :)

All the pictures are being held hostage in my camera, I will upload some when dh bring the cord :)  oh!!  And i can see my feet!!
