Anyone else feel sick and exhausted instead of nesting?

Last night and now today I have been feeling really tired and half nauseous. I do my usual house cleaning during the day (not working), but other than that, I just veg other than my nightly walk. Anyone else feel the opposite of nesting right before delivery? I am due in 6 days...

I have had no real desire to nest this whole pregnancy. I will do things in little half an hour or 15 minute spurts but that is about it. I'm also still working full time and commuting 2 hours plus a day so that definitely doesn't help matters. I know doing half of these things will be so much more difficult when he gets here, but I just can't get the energy to get things done

I'm the same way for the most part, but last night I actually got my butt off the couch and did some of the things I had been thinking about doing. My advice - stay on the couch. lol, I'm even more sore today and the things I did were really not that intense/difficult. Ughh. I'm also still working and today this desk chair is KILLING me!

yes i feel the same way, i slept pretty much all day yesterday and was only up for about 6 hours.

Yes. I had to force myself to get the apartment clean last week. It's slowly starting to get messy again so I need to re-clean it before I'm induced on Sunday. My nausea came back out of nowhere about a week ago.

Me too! Investigation Discovery is all Dateline, All the Time, I swear.

Daytime TV is pretty boring, I've gone through my whole DVR and now I'm bored out of my mind.

this is how i felt after i got off work. i constantly made lists of things to do and hardly got any of them done. the nursery and everything for the baby was ready, but i had a hard time wanting to do anything other than my typical housekeeping. i kind of believed that i'd get a last minute burst of energy before i went into labour.

then at 1230am tuesday morning my water broke (as i sat up in bed) and as i waited for the gush (and i mean gush) to stop flowing, i thought of all the things i hadn't done: i hadn't vacuumed the loveseat, i hadn't even done the dishes from the dinner i made that night, now i had the get the sheets off the bed and in the wash, i hadn't washed the dog beds, pledged everything in the house, reorganized the kitchen cupboards, done my two-week grocery shop, etc. and then you know what i did? i made my way down to the bathroom and took a shower, shaved my legs, put on makeup, got dressed, gathered the last of my hospital bag items, then woke dh to tell him it was time, all while complaining about how much i hadn't done. i tried to do the dishes before we left but he wouldn't let me. i did, however, get the sheets in the wash!

now that i've had the baby, i don't really care that none of it is done. i'll get it done when i can after we're home. no big deal!
