My MIL mentioned I needed to line LO's dresser drawers with something, especially since they are brand new. I was wondering if anyone else did this, if it was necessary, and what you used to line them with. Thanks!
I just used some tissue paper from the baby shower. I don't know if it's really needed? I'm crazy and save all the bags and tissue to reuse so I had a lot laying around.
We repurposed an old dresser (repainted, replace knobs) that we had that had been used by DH as a kid and that we'd been storing linens in. I ended up lining the drawers with simple Contact paper in white because that's the best solution I could find at Target and I had an itch/urge to put everything away in the drawers THAT NIGHT (could this be nesting???). It was super easy, definitely not as cool and decorative as it could have been, but I was determined to finish the project immediately!

I am using an old dresser that I'm staining. So I plan on putting lining on the bottom of the drawers, but on the new drawers for the other set I won't.

Re: lining dresser drawers?
My TJ Maxx often has drawer liners. They are scented so I don't know if that would be bad for a baby? If you're thinking decorative this is cute

Now I am super jealous. I love that blog! I wish I'd had the forethought/patience to do something like this!
