  LOL, poor thing (I mean Santa!). I showed DH and said taking our kids to see Santa looks like the perfect job for you in 2 years.

  We only had to wait about 20 minutes or so ... Bass Pro Shop does free pics with Santa, so at least I didn't have to PAY for my son to be so miserable, lol.

  We just got our Bass Pro Shop a few weeks ago. It's at the next exit from us. I'm looking forward to that in the future.

  My brother and I hated the Santa thing when we were little. Strangely my mom's cats faired much better when she took them. I'm hoping that my little one will be okay with it since my ILs have a huge Christmas Eve party every year and the little one's grandpa is the person who dresses up as Santa.

  LOL! DD finally ASKED to go see santa but I don't know how it's going to go. When we took her to Disneyland the time before last she was IN LOVE with mermaid so we waited the 20min in line to get a pic with her. DD reluctantly went and sat on her lap mermaid told her to smile and she LOST it. You would have though someone was trying to kill her.

  I have a picture just like that from last year!! It will be a fun memory as years go by. This year I'm going to tell the photographer to snap the picture the instant we put the kid in Santa's lap and hopefully we can get a shot that looks surprised rather than sheer terror!
