    As cute and great of an idea this is - it'll never work for DD Tongue Tied The first part of her clothing that gets too small is her tummy.

    As your daughter gets older, she will likely slim down making it easier to  wear a dress as a shirt. My almost 4yo was chubby, now she can wear dresses she wore at 2 as a shirt. Some make really cute ones too!
