DS is kicking out of his swaddle and moving all around the pnp, it's too hot for a sleep sack, but too cold for nothing...he sleeps in our room which we keep cool. What does your baby wear to bed? Same for naps?
DS was kicking out of his swaddle too- but I still like to swaddle him bc it helps prevent those startle wakings where he screams his little head off. Sooooo...I put him in a full body onesie and I only swaddle his arms...I let the bottom of the swaddler hang loose...I'm assuming you use a swaddler- if you don't, the best ones are the ones that allow you to swaddle down thier arms, I think that walmart sells them....they are awesome!!

Isaac sleeps in a sleeper. He has never really been swaddled. He is a hot baby so we stick with a sleeper. Or if it's really hot in his room (AC doesn't work great upstairs) I'll put him in a onsie and sock.
Right now it is usually a short sleeve onesie and a sleep sack. She seems comfortable, so we will stick with that through the summer.
Is it a fleece sleepsack or cotton? I have been putting LO in cotton
footie pajamas with a Halo sleeveless fleece sleepsack on top and
setting the room at 69/10 but he is waking up a lot. Maybe I am
overdressing him? I also have cotton Halo sleepsacks but haven't used
them yet. When he was in the RNP he was in fleece footie pajamas with a
blanket tucked around his belly but I obviously cant do that now in the
crib so I have been stressing whether the temp is waking him up more or
he is just adjusting to the crib
I use three different kinds of sleep sacks and I've gotten into the habit of this:
If he's in long sleeved pajamas/sleeper, he gets the cotton sleep sack.
If he's in short sleeved pajamas, he gets the fleece sleep sack.
If it's one of those in-between nights that are warm, but not warm enough for A/C because the temp will drop, I use a regular sleeper and use one of those aden + anais muslin sleep sacks, which are ULTRA light.
We're completely off the swaddling sleep sacks now but, with those, on cool nights, I'd use short sleeve pajamas that covered his whole leg with the fleece swaddle sleep sack. It just seemed too warm with long sleeves since he's a hot baby.
I keep the house far cooler than I would like it thanks to my husband and the baby!
At night we just do a cotton sleep and play. During the day she sleeps in her onesie. We do set the temp a little warmer in the day and cooler at night.

I guess it depends how hot it is where you are. We have our room set to 22/71 usually and I also check the back of her neck to make sure she isn't hot. I have a fleece sleepsack but wouldn't use it during the summer, and if I did she would only be in a short sleeve onesie or even a diaper.
Diaper or just a t-shirt with swaddleme. ts are awesome for diaper changes but some nights its a lil warm and the AC in our room isn't as good. Naps whatever he is wearing that day.
We're still swaddling DS so he sleeps in a onesie and is swaddled with an A&A blanket. Once we stop swaddling, he'll be in a cotton sleeper. We're in Southern California so it's pretty warm but cools off tremendously at night.
We go together like a wink and a smile. June 27, 2009
a sleeper and we use the swaddle me as a sleep sack b/c I can't swaddle her anymore d/t rolling over. We're in socal too-i llike the room really cool @ night.
Our little guy goes to sleep in just a onsie and no swaddle or sleep sack. After he falls asleep I lay a very light blanket over his legs and tuck it up under his arms and he sleeps perfect until morning. Since we live in an old farm house the air doesn't circulate quite so well so I get paranoid if he has too many layers on. Once the temperature drops this fall we will put him in jammies (with feet) and a heavier blanket or swaddle. Good luck!

DD just sleeps in her diaper... but she also sleeps with me, which is what makes that sufficient
What about covering your LO with a loose knit (so it won't smother them) blanket from the belly down? Or just a onesie or sleeper?
Cotton

I used to be "Chasingthedog" but it would never let me update my profile.

Long sleeve onesie with socks and a fleece sleep sack
We were doing a short sleeve onesie with socks in a fleece swaddle, but we had to stop swaddling because he can roll back to belly now.
