I suspect DD is teething but how do I know for sure? And how long it is reasonable for her to not act herself if it is teething?
The past couple days she has been fussy and clingy. She is usually a ridiculously happy baby, so this is completely out of the norm. She is drooling but not a ton. She is chewing on everything though. A couple times she has felt warm, but she hasn't had a fever. I do not see or feel any new teeth yet. She has her bottom two and I remember thinking that she was teething forever but not really knowing what was going on.
Should I be concerned about something else? possible ear infection? getting sick?
I had (reluctantly) started sleep training but stopped when she started acting so differently a couple days ago since you aren't supposed to sleep train when the child is teething or sick.

Re: How do I know what it is?
We seem to be going through a lot of the same things together, huh?
PS, I am sorry I haven't responded to your email yet. Yesterday was our family day and I don't have access to my home email from my work computer. I will respond tonight though

No problem! Yeah, what a bummer. Just the night before I had bragged to DH how easy DS was going to bed at night these days. I hope it's just teeth and not sickness. I hope they don't hurt for long!
