So sick of saltines already!

Blech. ?I think I am going to start adding some peanut butter to them and see if that helps.

Re: So sick of saltines already!

  • Peanut butter has been my good friend since m/s set in.  It helps to get some protein in.

  • Yea saltines use to work.  Now they are a no-go.  I can't hold those down anymore.  I just tried cheez-its..pretty good and staying down.

  • Cheez-its are good.... and also bagel bites w/PB are good.
  • Uhhh...I feel ya! As pp mentioned, I switched to Cheeze-Its too; at least it's a different flavor, I'm sure I'll be sick of it soon though!

  • Try oyster crackers, I switched to those when I OD'd on saltines. They are just as good with a little better flavor
  • I was sick of them too!  I switched to graham cracker fishies before bed.  Those are yummy!  Oyster crackers also work for me!

  • I know what you mean. I now despise Saltines! I have tried goldfish crackers and peanuts to vary it. Sometimes I think protein staves off the m/s better than carbs.
  • I know what you mean! I bought a box at about 7.5 weeks and just realized today I'm on the last pack (there were 4)! I can't totally disown them though since they have been a lifesaver as the only darn thing I can keep down at times. Yesterday afternoon I added small cheese slices which was a bit of a change and a little helpful. I also like the 100 calorie packs of wheat thins- they seem to add a little variety too!

    >PS: WAR EAGLE ... even after last night! It's been such a tough season, I don't think anyone expected us to pull that one out- but I'm just glad the season is over and we get a fresh start next year!
