Photography question!

Hey ladies! DH and I are having some photos made this weekend, and I was thinking of doing some semi-cheesy adoption-related shots with a small chalkboard, but I can't figure out what we should write on it. I was thinking something like:

Waiting for our miracle

but I'd LOVE some more ideas. I tried searching Google (when you search for adoption, adopting, etc. there are tons of post-adoption pics and animal pics) and Pinterest, but didn't find anything.

I'd like to avoid "adoption is when a baby grows in Mommy's heart instead of her tummy" or similar, because that saying always makes me feel like gagging, lol.

Any ideas??

    What about

    "Already in our heart; someday in our arms"?  Or is that also gag worthy? ;-) 

     I like just simply: 

    "someday" 

    or 

    "eventually" 

    or 

    "waiting" 

    Or what about "We just haven't met you yet"  (sorry if that song is now stuck in your head!)

    The cutest one I have seen (could be adoption or IF) was a chalk board that said:

    "We have been waiting for you __years, __months and __days!"

    And then they did one exactly like it post baby (with chalk board and baby this time) that said "And you are finally here!" 

    I don't know if that was all in one shoot, or pre-baby and post baby photos, but from the different outfits I got the impression it was like a maternity or adoption session (but she didn't look pregnant, so that's why I was thinking adoption) and then a newborn session.

    It was super cute though! I will look for the link to it!

    I love all of the idea's listed thus far.  The one I've seen is "Waiting for you".

    DH's friend took some semi-cheesy photos for us along with our profile pictures. We did a couple with "Growing in our Heart"- but I know you said you didn't like that one. We also did some with "Love makes a family" and a couple photos with baby shoes (like my siggy, one close up of our hands holding the shoes, one with our shoes and our wedding bands stacked up next to them). I know some of the ones we did with the little sign are cheesy but I think we'll be glad we have them :) Have fun!

    I went to college with this girl I thought her photos were cute. She already has other children, so I don't know if you could adapt this idea to your situation. Just thought I'd share! Have fun taking your photos!!
