in 1st Trimester

So I wrote about cramping and I have been having period like cramps for the best couple of hours. Also, when I go to the bathroom I have red spotting when I pee and I had some small brown clots. Is this normal?

    I had the same thing with both of my pregnancies and freaked both times. Everything was fine. That being said... if the spotting gets worse call your dr.  Nothing wrong w/ talking a nurse if you are worried. But I had 2 perfectly healthy babies.

    It can be normal, or not.  It depends on the reason behind what is going on.  Call your OB in the morning & they'll have you come in to evaluate your own situation.

    Red spotting is worth calling for. I've spotted red a couple of times and I'm still here, but it's still a scary thing. Spotting while pregnant is never " normal" but it is common.

    Cramping is normal. If you are bleeding red, enough to fill a pad, then you need to call your OB. Brown blood is old blood, nothing to worry about.
