So you are staying at the daycare that gave your daughter the stuff, lied to you about it, and did nothing to be sure it was corrected? Uh yeah, that is a terrible idea. Please find a new daycare.

I have to agree with this. They not only did it, but then covered it up on top of it. I would be very concerned with what else they lie about/cover up. Bad news if you ask me.

Why are you staying? Really, I would like you to answer that. In staying, you are saying you feel that your daughter is in the best possible environment and you are not worried at all about her well being. ::side eye::

You can't possibly be so naive as to believe what they told you. Now EVERYONE is defensive and denying it. You don't think they could have had a meeting and gone over their strategy in the event you ever brought it up?

Is this a place where you get a discount through work or something? It's not worth it. You get what you pay for.

Wow, shocked. I mean, in the end, it is your decision, and we are just a bunch of internet strangers, but since you put it out there, I guess we have the right to have an opinion, and I think you're nuts for staying. I know daycare spots may be thought to come by, and I sincerely hope that may be the only reason you'd stay, out of sheer necessity. They are clearly covering it up to protect their own teacher, because it is more work for them to fire someone and have to go through the hiring process than to say "Miss Sally, just use the artificial sweetener on the other kids now, not baby X". Seriously, if you choose not to do anything, that's your choice, but I'd tell the other parents, because if she was doing it to your child, she's doing it to others, and some of them would probably like the option to run for the hills. I'd think it over, they are just pulling the wool over your eyes.

I actually didn't stay we are staying. We are lookng into others. DH and I have no one here to watch DD and we both have to work. All of our friends and family are in NY. I am taking her out of daycare for the next 2 weeks and staying home with her so I will have the time to look at others. It took us a LONG time to find a daycare...believe me the others are worse and the one that is better is 2k per month. We are currently paying $1500 so that is a big jump but worth it if it's an ok daycare. Sleep deprived on top of a high stress job, needed a few days to think it over.
