Anyone else have a lo who has decided to make nursing into an Olympic sport? I'm finding it harder and harder to nurse because E attaches and then attempts to sit up, roll over, throw herself backwards or pretty much anything that looks like fun. If I pull her away from the boob she has a complete meltdown.. I would use a bottle but E thinks that is some kind of joke and will chuck it at you. Any suggestions on nursing a baby who can't sit still?

YEEEP! I used to be able to nurse Carson on the go, in the car while running errands. Yea right! I tried that today, and he was sitting up, grabbing for things while my boob and nipple are flyin'. Very descreet, Carson.
The only time that I can get him to sit still and concentrate is in the dark in his room, and even then it isn't guaranteed.
Yep. He's all over the place or at least popping off every two seconds to look around and check everything out. He also grabs at anything and everything while nursing- my kindle, glass of water, food, my hair, my earrings, etc. Oh, and my favorite? He repeatedly snaps my bra/tank strap.

Caleb kicks constantly while nursing. If I'm up against anything (like the arm of the couch) he kicks and pushes against it so that he thrusts his whole body forward while still attached to my nipple. Tons of fun. If I give him more room he just kicks me.
I feel like he's losing interest in nursing and not taking as much milk, but in reality I think it's just a distraction thing.
Lily likes to pull on necklaces. Hard. So unless I want her to break all my necklaces, I don't think I should give this approach a try.

I'm with LCass, I tried wearing a nursing necklace and he pulled so hard it was hurting me. No go there.
Same here... The last time I tried to nurse L with a cover I spent more time holding the cover over my boob than having L actually nurse. She was getting a kick out of it and thought it was a game!
I'm glad L isn't the only one trying out for the US (or Canadian) gymnastics team haha
Woohoo! I
that you included that.

Of course I would!
Extreme diaper changing of a poopy diaper is awful!!! Mobile babies are crazy!
She has been flipping herself over on her changing table for months. So not fun!
it's been a constant issue for us, too. you could try a cup instead of a bottle! We wanted to give DD some pedialyte because she had a fever. She wouldn't take it from the bottle but did ok with the cup.
but yeah, nursing is a feat these days. It has calmed down just a bit, but now that i"ve typed that it'll get worse.
