Weird Tooth Order???

DS has been fussy and acting like he's teething again. He has his two center teeth. I keep looking for the two top teeth---nothing. Someone suggested yesterday that I start looking for the bottom teeth next to the centers---nothing.

 HOWEVER---there's a swollen white spot on the side--more towards the back. Is this possible? It seems so weird. I'm not 100% it's a tooth---but looks like his front gums did before they appeared and DS keeps chewing on his fingers back there.

    My LO has the same exact thing! It seems way too early for molars!

    That's what I said!!! DH noticed it first and I said "no way!". The tooth charge I have says those teeth should appear around 18 months. Crazy! It looks really painful too. Sad

    Did you touch it? If it is soft then it might be pus or a milk pocket. They are painful but happen frequently. My DD had one at around this age and I swore up and down it was a tooth for a while but it was a little milk type of pocket.

    Ewww. I didn't touch it. I'll have to check that out in the morning. 

    I've never heard of that. Is there anything you can do for it?

    Nothing really except to clean LOs gums regularly to prevent any more from coming. My DD liked to store milk in her mouth which helped cause hers. but after a couple days it was gone.

    DS doesn't have any teeth yet, however he looks like he's about to get a bottom incisor or canine.  He shouldn;t be getting either of those ones yet.  Not a spot in the centers yet, but he is chewing his fingers off putting them eactly on the spot I see changing.  I don;t want to even think about molars!

    I got my teeth out of order. Bottom two first followed by my upper fangs. My mom said it was hilarious.

    LO got his bottom 2 teeth last month and we have been looking up top daily. Well wouldn't you know it, a little tooth on the bottom popped through again. So right now he has 3 teeth on the bottom and none on the top.
