In response to my "getting ready in the morning" post below, a few people recommended showering the night before and using dry shampoo to fluff my hair the next morning & make it less greasy.
I am very intrigued by this because I have never been able to shower the night before - my hair is very fine & gets greasy overnight.
After watching a few youtube reviews, I think I'm going to go buy the Suave version and do a test run tonight - I'll let you know how it goes!!
Any tips / suggestions / success stories / massive failures to report with your own experiences with dry shampoo?
Re: dry shampoo?
I use Cake Beauty Hair Powder for lighter hues (they make it for darker hues, too). I highly recommend.

I have a failure with the Suave stuff. I used it for a few months here and there with no issues, and then all the sudden I developed a pretty severe allergic reaction to it! It did work well when I wasn't covered in hives... If you have sensitivities to a lot of products though, you might want to watch out.
My roots used to get really greasy if I skipped a day of washing my hair. But after reading other December moms post about dry shampoo, I started using it. I tried Suave at first, but my roots still looked greasy on the days I didn't wash my hair. Then I switched to Pssssst, which got great reviews on Amazon. I like it a lot better than the Suave. My roots don't look greasy and I don't get that icky feel I used to get when I didn't wash my hair.
I really like the Pssssst dry shampoo. I just spray it on my roots when I'm almost done getting ready, let it sit for a few minutes while I finish getting ready, then brush my hair out.
I have tried a few brands. The first I tried was an Ojon spray which worked really well but was also pretty expensive.
Then I tried Oscar Blandi Pronto. The version I have is a bottle that just pours out powder, and I hate that application method. It smells nice, but I would rather have a spray.
The one I have right now I hate and never use. It's not technically a dry shampoo, it's a waterless shampoo foam from Suave and it sucks, don't buy it!
Seriously this! Where have I been?
That's the one I have but mine comes out really slowly and finely. It is a really old bottle though so maybe they changed the bottle. They do make a spray though in it!
So you just put it/spray it on your hair and then you don't have to wash or everyday?
