Let me preface this with a hope that it doesn't come off as complaining...I am SO excited to be pregnant.
I am worried though - I cannot get my energy level up. I have had a migraine for almost two weeks straight now. I still puke about every three days, and I go from sweating to freezing to sweating all day long unless I'm asleep. Also, I randomly get out of breath and I'm not even up and moving. I feel like if I was really listening to my body, I would sleep 10-12 hours a day, but with my work/business schedule, I really can't.
Does anyone else still feel sick? Does any of the stuff I mentioned above seem like cause for concern? I'm a FTM, and don't know what is considered 'normal.'
Re: I should not still be this sick and tired, right?
I do. There is no exact guideline to when your body will get over this lovely sickness, unfortunately.
Did your doc check your thyroid levels yet?

Just the general turedness if your levels are low. I doubt there are, just saying.
They took a whole nbunch of blood and tested me for EVERYTHING under the sun.
I would talk to your Dr.
Could be normal or could be something is off... every person and every pregnancy is different.
I do still get sick and vom a couple times a week. Always in the evening. Wheee.
I also have the "air hunger" and feel like I cannot catch my breath, and right now I would give my pinkie toe for a good, long nap.
But, I do feel much much better than I did in the 1st tri. I mean, I'm not horizontal on the sofa every night... nor is my head in a toilet for 21 (give or take) hours a day...
The sweating/freezing/sweating thing I don't know about. And, although I get headaches almost daily, they're nowhere near migraine status.
I'm sorry, cookie-pants. I hope you get some answers and/or feel better soon.
I definitely have a lot of hormones surging because Cookie-Pants was so cute it gave me tears in my eyes. LOL. I also got that way because my client wouldn't answer the phone earlier today. **sigh**
I'll probably just mention all of this at my next appointment. It's only a week from today.

I have no idea what's considered normal, but I am still very sick and tired. I'm hoping that it decides to let up soon.
So I know it doesn't really make anything better but know that you're not alone.

:: hugs :: Pregnancy is *rough* yo. ;-)
it's 501 posts... just to make your shittty feelings even shitttier.
im feeling similar to you. I have a steady headache, not quite migrane level... If your concerned talk to your doctor. I had my appointment a few days ago with mine and when I told her that I was still feeling like crap she said "Well, 12 and 13 weeks isn't some magic moment that you all the sudden feel better like everybody says. But hopefully you should be feeling better soon"
But on the other hand-- And i hate to even think about this-- but there are some people who feel poopy through out the whole thing!
Hope you start feeling better soon though!
b1tch...j/k
you!
and...Bam?

This. I really don't feel sick anymore and I have my appetite back but I still have zero energy. We go to the doctors tomorrow so I am going to bring it up to him and see what he says. I hope things get better for you or you find a solution soon.
I have my husband hunting down coconut water and watermelon juice to keep me hydrated. I don't know if that will help the headaches, but I know I'm dehydrated because even my skin is drying out. Maybe that could help you, me, and all the still sick Mamas...also heard magnesium supplement would help...
