WWYD?

DH called.  His interview today is for a hotel restaurant.  They are going to put him up at the hotel tonight (itsa 4 star).  He wants me to come down and stay with him tonight - about an hour away but traffic is going to be hell (Bmore to DC).  He could stay b/c he has interviews again w/ them tomorrow, or he could come home and go back in the morning with us - we wanted to sightsee tomorrow afterwards.

If I went I'd have to pack us up, drop the dogs off at BIL and arrange for an apt neighbor to bring in my clean dipes tomorrow when the dipe service p/u and drops off.  It's also two cars coming and going.

Would you go?  Or just tell him to stay and have a peaceful night, see you tomorrow??

  • I would stay home.

  • I would go tomorrow and sightsee, if gas was not a problem. Right now I would probably just stay at home unless he was going to spend the day with us tomorrow.

  • I would stay home tonight (but then I'm mostly a homebody!), go sight see tomorrow... I like DS to stay on his nighttime schedule.
  • I would be staying home too just because all that you have to do sounds like a PITA and I am in a lazy mood right now! haha

  • Glad you ladies feel the same way.  The whole thing just sounds like a headache - to top it off DS hasn't taken his second nap so he'd probably be an absolute mess if I took him away from our nighttime routine.

Before kids - I would have been there in a heart beat.  With a kid - not feeling up to it.  Yawn - I feel so boring.  But you know what? - life is complicated enough as is, why add to the stress??

  • I'd stay home too. DH is forever doing things like this to me. I think he needs to see how quickly he can get ready, pack up the baby, etc and be out the door.

For me it never fails... the second I try and get out the door quickly DS has a meltdown.

    Avoid the drama...I'd stay home!
