  we have and like this one for the top of our stairs

   It is way harder than I thought to install on the top of the stairs as we have one wall and a bannister. We did a kidco bannister kit to attach the gate to the bannister on one side. If you have a baseboard on the wall(s) you need a pressure mount with hardware...this one is ideal for that.

  We have this one and like it. We put it up a little high so the cat can go under. We don't use it for stairs.
