So, I told myself I would be good and not go crazy and eat forever, But I did. I was about 5 pounds heavier than usual when I found out I was pregnant, but now it's 5 more! I'm wearing a snap dress today and my tummy keeps poking out of it...
Ughhh not looking forward to post-baby losing weight!

I had major bloat and constipation my first pg - and I was literally up 7 lbs at my first weigh-in at 5 weeks. It doesn't seem like a lot, but I had had my annual visit 3 weeks prior, so it was A LOT to my doc.
By my second appointment, I was down 6 of the 7 lbs and the bloat was almost gone.
Don't stress about the weight gain - just eat healthy and try to exercise or at least keep active. It will help immensely. I failed to keep active last time and I'm kicking myself for it.
Ah! Good - I'm not the only one who kept a few (ok, 8) pounds as a souvenier... ugh.
I was too lazy to lose it! I actually lost 5 of them after DS1 was born, but gained it back during maternity leave, by sitting on my ass in the couch all day.

Oh my goodness. I just threw my scale in the closet this morning for that reason. I can gain or lose 8 pounds in a DAY regardless of what I eat and drink! Stupid bloat. I'm not even going to worry about how much I gain this trimester. As long as I'm making healthy choices, I figure I'll be fine. I'll drag that scale out again when my cravings kick in to keep myself in check!
If it makes you feel better though, with #1 I lost 25 of the 30 pounds I gained within the first week!
I have gained 9 freaking pounds so far! It sucks, but it's my own fault because I feel nauseous all the time and only carbs seem to help. It seems like I'm going to be working hard again to get the weight off after this one is born.
