is it just me or....

I have been on these sites before i got married and recently I came over to bump because we are trying to start are family since we are coming up on our first wedding anniversary but what troubles me is that when reading some people's comments and replies  on here i get upset because they can be very snarky and down right rude. This is supposed to be a place that you can come and get advice and rely on comfort from others that are going thru the same thing. Not to have to put up with cyberbullies or people who seem to think that you may have asked a "stupid" question. No question is stupid because its something that you want a answer to, no matter how small your issue is. We are adults and hopefully grown ladies. I expected more from this message board. pull it together people.

    Unfortunately it seems like all the pregnancy boards that I've been to on the internet are full of this problem.  People seem to think that since they can be "anonymous", they can be rude.  Although I do find some posts amusing because of how heated people get, I just ignore the rude ones.  I can't change how some people love to be rude, but I can choose not to reply to them.  Good luck :)

    I disagree with this one.  For example, come on to an internet message baord asking a bunch of people if you're pregnant is a stupid question.  You may want the answer, but no one here can answer it for you

    Yes, it gets old seeing the SAME questions over and over. And most of them are because people are too lazy to do some research into pregnancy symptoms and/or take a test.

    I agree 100%. I've actually emailed support to have my account deleted. Move over to parents.com or babycenter.com

    The people there are much more helpful. They're not malicious, judemental and angsty like these people.

     If you asked that here? You'd be called tacky, low-class, poor, "grabby", a "bish" and told that if no one offers to throw you one, you just don't get one.

    I thought this was a group of GROWN ladies that were here to help and support one another, instead it's just a sad group of girls looking to make themselves seem better than one another.

    I'm glad I'm not the only one that sees it! Yes high five!

    I think BabyCenter is more your speed anyway.  And we didn't call you ANY names.  We said it was tacky to throw your own shower...it is.  That's just FACT.

    Incidentally, you can scour the internet and find backup for whatever you believe.  Doesn't mean it's right.  Hell, there is a whole website devoted to man-boy love, justifying their believes.  Doesn't make it right.

     I couldn't agree more. No one has been nasty to me, but I've seen girls getting some nasty responses for innocent questions. Even if it seems like a "stupid question" to you for someone else it is such a large issue they turned to this forum for advice.

    If you can't say anything nice, move on to the next post.
